Dopo il successo dell’ultimo concerto arriva la prima replica di Me and The Devil: 1th Act. Rhymes of perdition and whisky lullabies.
Mr Paganini e Morgana si esibiranno sul palco dell’HonkyTonk dove presenteranno il repertorio originale gothic country raccontando aneddoti della storia della musica d’oltreoceano.
Il gothic country, anche conosciuto come Denver Sound, Dark Americana o Southern Gothic, è una derivazione della musica country radicata a Denver, che si caratterizza per le sonorità post-punk, Americana, e early jazz, e per le atmosfere tetre dei testi.
Per l’occasione l’attrice Ludovica Cerioni reciterà il monologo da lei scritto ‘Se una figlia’.

Mr Paganini, fondatore e direttore artistico del collettivo conosciuto come Paganini Caravan, 
è un cantautore, compositore, autore e performer. Il suo repertorio rievoca le sonorità della tradizione musicale del Sud degli Stati Uniti, dello Swamp Blues della Louisiana e del Dark Country, con derivazioni post country e grunge. La sua musica si caratterizza per una combinazione di sonorità sporche e gipsy che riportano alla mente atmosfere da club clandestini oltreoceano, e una voce potente e graffiante che valorizza testi ricercati ed evocativi. I suoi brani, italiani e inglesi, raccontano “l’odore del suono di posti maledetti che sanno di polvere e whiskey, risate sguaiate e frasi dette sottovoce…”.

Gothic country, also known as Americana, Dark Americana, Southern Gothic or Denver Sound, is a genre of country music rooted in early jazz, Americana, post-punk and gothic rock, focused on dark subject matter. The actress Ludovica Cerioni will perform ‘Se una figlia’, written and directed by her.

Mr Paganini, founder and artistic director of the collective known as Paganini Caravan, is a songwriter, composer and performer. His repertoire evokes the sound and atmospheres of the American Folk tradition, from Louisiana Swamp Blues to Gothic Americana, from post country to grunge. The baritone, deep and powerful raspy voice, the dirty and smoky sound of his picking guitar and gritty piano, and the carnival and 1930s-era-cabaret looks of his shows, all together forming a keenly individual musical universe. His Italian and English songs speak of life, love, fear and pain in an authentic and real way, they tell us “about the smell of the sound in a underground clubs made of whiskey and dust, chattering laugh and howling of tormented souls…”.
