Mr Paganini

Songwriter and art director in 2022 Mr. Paganini founded a collective of artists and this experience led to the creation of the urban orchestra ‘Paganini Caravan’. He is a songwriter with a taste for the dark and grotesque as much as the theatrical.
His compositions include picking guitar, gravelly vocals, and musical inspiration ranging from mad cabarets to the soft-spoken folk and dark poetry.
His repertoire evokes the sound and the atmospheres of the Americana tradition, from the Denver sound to Early Jazz. Mr P. embodies the spirit of Beat poetry through his gritty, jazz-infused musical style, evocative lyrics about outcasts and carnivalesque characters, his spoken-word performances, improvisational, and darkly humorous storytelling. His songs speak about life, love, fear and pain in an authentic and real way, “about the smell of the sound in underground clubs made of whisky and dust, chattering laughter and howls of tormented souls…”. The baritone, deep and powerful raspy voice, the dirty and smoky sound of his picking guitar and gritty piano, and the carnival and 1930s-era-cabaret style of his shows, all together forming a keenly individual musical universe.

Since 2023 he released three full length albums and five singles tracks collecting more than 50k streams on Spotify in less than 2 years.
The debut album ‘Rhymes of perdition’, was released on April 2024. It collected more than 20K streams in a few months, included two singles. It’s a progect of eight original songs of Americana. It was presented ad Altroquando in Rome on April 12th 2024. The recording process involved many musicians and professional. All the violins were recorded by Valentina Del Re, violin virtuoso who collaborated with Orchestra di Roma Tre, Ennio Morricone, Asaf Avidan, and the Propaganda Orkestra. The second album ‘La Carovana’, was born as direct experience of the collective, and it was released on December 2024. It collected more than 30K streams on spotify included the single ‘Il teatro dei balocchi’.
It was released on March 29th 2025 in Rome, during a live concert at CSOA La Strada. This party was the first show of the tour ‘A passo di Carovana’. The song ‘Fuori i secondi’ (Seconds out of the ring), was selected as end credits song by the director Gianni Virgadaula for the film ’Nino Benvenuti: un campione per amico’. The third album ‘E tu la chiami poesia’, was preceded by the single ‘Margherita’. It was premiered at Gala Hala (Lubiana, Slovenia) and CSOA La strada (Rome, Italy) as the first show of the ‘Speculum Tour’, is available from March 25th 2026.
