Mr Paganini

Singer songwriter, composer and performer based in Rome (Italy), Mr Paganini is the leader of the band ‘La Carovana’.

He is a songwriter with a taste for the dark and grotesque as much as the theatrical. With a baritone and deep timbre, Mr Paganini has one of those harsh voices that demands any listener’s attention. His compositions include picking guitar, dark, gravelly vocals, and musical inspiration ranging from mad cabarets to the soft-spoken folk and dark poetry.

In the last two years Mr Paganini has released as an independent artist two full length albums and 5 singles tracks.

His debut album ‘Rhymes of perdition’ evokes the sound and atmospheres of the Americana tradition, from gothic country to Denver Sound and grunge.
In 2022 Mr Paganini founded a collective of artists known as Paganini Caravan and this experience led to the creation of the urban orchestra ‘The Caravan’.
Hence the title of the second album, ‘La Carovana’, released on December 6th 2024 and presented at CSOA La Strada in Rome on March 27th the same year.
Combining musical influences from around the world ranging from blues to mad cabarets, ragtime to balkan-punk, the ‘gutter-jazz’ band’s material lends itself perfectly to a live setting, featuring a great deal of sing-along chorus chants, melodic improvisation and long rhythmic breaks.
